My name is Jordan Neiblum. My passion is drawing and illustration because it brings the creative images in my mind to life.

I grew up in Evergreen, Colorado. After graduating Evergreen High School I went straight to Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Right from the start I knew my major, art. I switched to the graphic design option after my first lesson on the computer because it felt like the gateway to a much bigger world of art! 

I've always dreamed of becoming a character design artist or illustrator. My final year of middle school leading into my freshman year of high school I stumbled upon the wonderful world of Japanese animation, aka anime. I started drawing those quirky anime characters and fell in love with the style; I also started to become a huge fan of the culture of Japan. A new dream came to mind, why not go to Japan? So I did.

After four years of college I finally got to fulfill my dream! I only had a couple credits left to complete until I could receive my diploma and I thought, why not kill two birds with one stone, so I traveled to the magical land of Japan. There I studied Japanese language and learned more about animation, anime, and the Japanese culture including film, food, and flower arranging. Because of this amazing adventure, I feel like the world has lit up new paths and opened doors that have previously been shrouded in mystery. It's as if the two 

Now that I have completed college and I have earned a BA in Graphic Design I am serious about becoming an artist. My new dream is to become a graphic designer or an illustrator. Because of my love for Japan, and my visit to it's magical islands, I have a heavy influence asian looking influence in my art. This is not to say it's my only style, I have a strong desire to learn and create, just like I did since I was very young. Art is my life and I intend to pursue it until the end.
